I'm leaving. I am NOT drinking any F&#%ing Merlot! Oh Yes We Are! Bohemian Highway Merlot

Any one who saw the game changing film about wine, Sideways, will never forget that line. They say Merlot took a big hit in sales as a result.

Years later the grape is regaining popularity especially with creative wine marketing efforts like this from Bohemian Highway Wine who bottle and market this delightful wine, Bohemian Highway Merlot.

This very inexpensive Merlot is really a great, bright flavorful, beautifully faceted ruby red wine that is just so pleasing. The wine went great with this simple Asian Chicken salad inspired by a lunch at Yotel, NYC.

The salad, Diana made, inspired bu one she had at Yotel Four, is greens, water chestnuts, edamame, carrots, sauteed shallots, dates and chicken seared in soy with a home made dressing of olive oil, lime, Worcestershire sauce and other secret ingredients. Yumm...

Yotel? Have you been there? On 10th Ave & 41st. Their restaurant and roof top lounge "Four", is fab. Food and drink at Four are the creation and production of Sandoval Restaurants, "Chef Richard Sandoval and his team have created vibrant menus of small plates and sharing dishes to match the dynamic series of gathering spaces."  It is worth the trip.  Diana has been there many times and loves it.
