This is the second time we have had the opportunity to enjoy this sparkling wine made in the lush Italian countryside between Veneto and Vincenza on the road to Venezia. It is a beautiful part of the world that we have visited twice and plan to vacation there again.
This Prosecco has nice texture with soft bubbles and fine full yet dry flavor.
We had this bottle with a great brunch at the Montclair, NJ restaurant, Southern Belle. It was perfect with the rich butter flavors of the food which is a good place for "dry" wine.
This wine is made by the famous Italian vintners Casa Vinicola Zonin. They have many vineyards in Italy and also a fantastic vineyard in Barboursville, Virginia which we visited last month and where we tasted this Prosecco for the first time.
Wine Enthusiast said “An enjoyable bubbly with good creamy froth, white peach, mineral and hard candy tones that are nicely balanced and spread throughout. It has a thick consistency and a snappy, crisp close.”
We liked it and the price is right.
