After an invigorating ride along the Hudson River in Liberty State Park and Jersey City we stopped for a leisurely lunch at lovely French Bistro called La Source in the historic Paulus Hook section a few blocks away from the waterfront financial district.
Brunch was available but we ordered from the Prix Fixe Lunch menu for $16.
We started with a wonderfully creamy very delicious Tomato Gazpacho with crab meat and a very nice garden salad with a perfect Tarragon vinaigrette.
Our waiter Kevin was very friendly. There is a nice selection of beer, wine and cocktails. I chose a Stellaon draft.
Diana had a dish of Pulled Pork and Pork Belly over Watermelon and Greens. That was quite good. I had the Mediterranean Ravioli filled with Local Vegetables, Warm Tomato Fondue & Feta which I thought was just good. The Ravioli tasted factory made.
Sorry for the red hue in the pictures, from the umbrella.
We would try this place again and taste the farm to table market specials. Another great feature, they have free parking.
