In July of 2011, spirits from around the world descended on America’s most soulful city as Tales of the Cocktail® returned to New Orleans.

Tales of the Cocktail is always held in July at various locations throughout the French Quarter. Some of the best-known local mixologists and noted bartenders from around the country assemble to shake, stir and pour their colorful concoctions.
We have been big fans of Employees Only on Hudson Street for years and the newer Macao Trading Company below Canal.
Their almost hidden locations and cool roaring 20's bar atmosphere is so appealing. Cocktails and wine list is first rate and the food is exceptional.
The popular feature film Hey Bartender further tells the story.
New York Insider catches up with the staff of Employees Only, a New York City Roaring Twenties-style bar that won the title of Best Cocktail Bar in the World at Tales of the Cocktail 2011.
